E-Commerce Executive.
Self-Taught Web Developer.

I began my professional journey on 15 February 2023 as an E-commerce Executive at Digitweb Lanka. My understanding of e-commerce systems was limited and the learning curve was steep. The early days were full of real-world challenges that shaped my practical knowledge and resilience.

As my expertise grew I was promoted to UK Market Lead, handling performance monitoring, account health and strategic planning for the UK region.

This was a turning point. Alongside operations I started learning web development, eventually reaching the point where I could build, manage and hand over complete projects independently.

Through this period I built hands-on experience across the major marketplace and commerce platforms.

After an internal restructuring at Digitweb Lanka I was promoted to eBay Department Head, managing eBay operations across Europe and the US. The role covered seller accounts, team performance, strategic planning and marketplace growth, and it significantly strengthened my leadership, decision-making and large-scale operational management.

In January 2026 I stepped up to Regional Operational Manager, overseeing regional operations, improving processes and driving team performance toward clear business objectives.

The work centres on operational planning, KPI monitoring, cross-functional coordination and problem-solving, with a constant focus on building strong teams and supporting sustainable business growth.

At Digitweb Lanka I learned and applied software development in real production environments. That included full-stack work, designing and handling APIs, building complete web applications and solving real business problems with technology.

I also gained hands-on experience with VPS hosting, application deployment and system configuration, alongside gathering requirements, planning technical solutions and testing for stability, performance and scalability.

This bridged the gap between development and business needs, letting me ship practical, production-ready solutions.

Alongside my corporate career I pursued building independent digital solutions, founding Teckvora in June 2025.
